Vulva inspired craft, drawing, collage & conversation
Creating art and craft has proven healing benefits. Getting creative supports our mental health and well-being, it can be meditative, reduce stress, and it can be fun! Luv Ya Vulva craft workshops add an extra layer of awareness and body literacy to help celebrate and learn about our precious parts.
We're all uniquely individual and artistic expression is a wonderful way to remind ourselves to love all our bits, just the way they are, and with a giggle or two along the way.
“In our Luv Ya Vulva workshops we witness people silently stitching away, deep in their own process, as well as nattering about all sorts of things, related or unrelated. Rest assured, healing is happening. I’ve personally healed a lot of shame about my vagina and womb while making art about it, and long afterwards too actually. The healing and realisations don’t just take place in the moment of making. Much like properly assisted psychedelic therapy, the insights can happen days, weeks or even months after.”
Call it a girls night, a date night, everyone is welcome here.
Zoe will provide colourful resources and artistic guidance for you to create delightful vulva art using textiles, paint, pencil and shiny treasures.
About Zoe @yonilistening
Passionate about also helping other women find the same enthusiasm for their own bodies and self-care, I am not afraid to address and confront difficult topics. Motherhood, sex, body dysmorphia, gender, divorce and even illness has contributed to my work and challenged me to think about broader social, political and cultural issues women are faced with today.
Your evening includes art, endless cups of herbal tea and other light refreshments.
